Tre Bella
Friendly Visits (interviews with some of our favorite vendors) are back on the Gather Together blog! Today, we learn about our friends at Tre Bella. Enjoy!
Tre Bella Flowers & Bridal Boutique is comprised of three lovely sisters - Becky, Rachael & Kate. Located in Durham, NC, Tre Bella is known for understanding their clients and making the bride's style and personality shine through on their wedding day. From sprawling ballrooms, to rustic barns, to beautiful backyards, all three sisters have a passionate enthusiasm for weddings and have created an amazing reputation around the Triangle. They have worked with Gather Together for several years, and we could not enjoy it more!

We had the opportunity to interview Rachael to discuss their inspiration, their favorite things, and what they have planned for 2013!
Samantha - Gather Together: Where do you look for inspiration?
Rachael - Tre Bella: We look at a lot of wedding magazines and read a lot of blogs. It is fun to see what other brides and designers around the country are doing. We also get a lot of inspiration from our own brides. They bring us their ideas and images that they have found online. We really try to personalize our flowers to our brides and draw as much inspiration from them as we can.
Samantha : Do you have a floral designer "crush" or someone who inspires you?
Rachael : Not really any one [person] in particular. We do have a tendency to look toward some California designers.
Samantha : How did you develop the Tre Bella signature style?
Rachael : We really never tried to create an "image" for Tre Bella. It is really just a reflection of the three of us and our natural personalities. We work hard, we take our business very seriously, and we really think that wedding planning should be fun!
Samantha : To date, what has been your favorite Tre Bella design for a wedding?
Rachael : This is a very hard question! There are a lot of weddings that we have done over the years that we love, and depending on what sister you ask, you will probably get a different answer! We did a wedding several years ago at the Washington Duke Inn that I personally have always loved. The family was wonderful to work with. They had 30 tables at the reception with tall, full, large arrangements and lots of candle light. For the escort card table, I created a bed of flowers - the entire table was covered with flowers - and I cut little pieces of branch that stuck into the flowers and held the escort cards. Loved that!
Samantha :What are Tre Bella's favorite flowers?
Rachael : My favorite flower is the peony, as is Becky's. I'm pretty sure Kate's is the daffodil.
Samantha :What is on your "must design" list for 2013?
Rachael : Our "must design" is more about creating the perfect wedding for each of our brides.
Kate, Rachael and Becky picking cherries. Could they be any more adorable?!
We love that the Tre Bella ladies' #1 rule is to listen and understand the bride's wants and needs for a wedding dress, decor, or floral design. It is wonderful to work with such amazing vendors that have each client's best interest at heart. We cannot wait to work with them more in 2013!
PS - Don't miss {Altar Ego} on March 1st, Tre Bella's annual evening of fashion and fun, highlighting local fashion and the most current bridal dress designs!
