When I worked for a catering company in Charleston, I’ll never forget my first private home wedding. The marsh-front home had a covered porch where a hand-scrawled chalkboard (before they were cool…) declared, “Bienvenido a la boda!” as guests walked under Spanish-moss-draped live oak trees toward a glimmering clear top tent. The scene was dripping with elegance, yet welcoming as could be.
When I started Gather Together, I knew I wanted at-home weddings to be our focus and dedicated myself to becoming an expert in tenting, complicated logistics, planning for weather, and all the other challenges that come along. Now, with years of experience under our belts, I am beyond proud that Gather Together is the trusted expert in the Carolinas for private property events. To me, there is no more special place to start your family tree than where your roots run deep!
