After a beautifully reverent church ceremony, Sydney & Buzz celebrated their marriage in the backyard of her parent's home in Wilson, North Carolina. The memories tied with a childhood home are unbeatable and, we believe, make for the perfect place to begin a new family tree. Sydney and Buzz wanted their guests to celebrate in a garden wedding reception with a modern twist (and the party of a lifetime).

Rachael & Jesse's Banner Elk Private Mountain Home Wedding

Rachael, a local gift boutique owner of The Local Squirrel, and Jesse, an Army veteran, were married at Rachael’s parents’ home at the first turn of fall in the NC Mountains. This celebration, featured in The Carolinas Magazine, was magically unique, from a “chapel in the woods” ceremony among Banner Elk’s mountain boulders, to countless thoughtful food and beverage pairings, to details to make each guest feel welcome. They wanted to use locally sourced items and services to reflect the sense of place, while providing a gracious, hospitable experience each attendee would remember as guests of their own home.
