At Rachael & Jesse’s private home wedding in Banner Elk, NC, their guests were treated to a beautiful experience layered with love, family and friends. A cliffside wedding ceremony, an outdoor cocktail hour with mountain views, a clear top tent reception (with sommelier-selected pairings), and wedding exit fireworks - what’s not to love?

Pins and needles doesn’t begin to describe it. Now that Sydney & Buzz’s beautiful at-home wedding has been featured in Carats & Cake, we are delighted to finally share their wedding with you!

After a beautifully reverent church ceremony, Sydney & Buzz celebrated their marriage in the backyard of her parent's home in Wilson, North Carolina. The memories tied with a childhood home are unbeatable and, we believe, make for the perfect place to begin a new family tree. Sydney and Buzz wanted their guests to celebrate in a garden wedding reception with a modern twist (and the party of a lifetime). 

When Lauren & Dylan got engaged, they knew they wanted a wedding inspired by their favorite place to travel, New York City, their love of delicious food, and their closeness with family and friends who are family. Elegant, yet welcoming, was the feel they wanted to create – a special treat for all their loved ones. They chose to host their dream celebration at the historic and stunning Merrimon-Wynne House in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina in the midst of fall.

Here at Gather Together, we specialize in private home, outdoor, and tented events. We love every aspect of a beautiful tent - the blank canvas allows us create a design that truly resembles the couple, custom being our standard. Rachael, a local gift boutique owner of The Local Squirrel, and Jesse, an Army veteran, were married at Rachael’s parents’ home at the first turn of fall in the NC Mountains. This celebration, featured in The Carolinas Magazine, was magically unique, from a “chapel in the woods” ceremony among Banner Elk’s mountain boulders, to countless thoughtful food and beverage pairings, to details to make each guest feel welcome. They wanted to use locally sourced items and services to reflect the sense of place, while providing a gracious, hospitable experience each attendee would remember as guests of their own home.

Everything about Anna's bridal portraits was an absolute dream! From a breath-taking riverside venue to an effortlessly beautiful bride, we're beyond excited to be able to share the gorgeous images taken by Katherine Miles Jones.

Here at Gather Together we live for the stories behind our couples! After attending the same high school, living miles apart on separate coasts, life brought them together years later at their high school reunion!

Relieved and excited that Abby Larson and Tait Larson have pulled out all the stops to make sure Style Me Pretty lives on! We have loved being a part of this inspirational community through the years and are so glad it will continue. The weather is finally turning warm around here, and what better way to ring in the spring season than sharing Stephanie & Chad's Bull City wedding, featured on Southern Bride & Groom? Not only is this couple joyful, down-to-earth, and stylish, but Chad is a friend and trusted vendor to us here at Gather Together, co-owner of American Party Rentals.  We were thrilled and honored to design and plan their wedding day.

It's our favorite time of the year! Art in Bloom exhibit is here this weekend, at the North Carolina Museum of Art. We were so inspired by all of the showcased designers, we had to share some of our favorite installations.  Supporting such talented designers is so important to us, many of whom we have had the pleasure of working with over the years!

Farm weddings have a special place in our hearts, having been in the families for decades and rooted in homestead traditions. Caroline & Jared wanted to host a gracious celebration (and one heck of a party!) where family and friends could feel relaxed and at home.  We are delighted to have Caroline & Jared's wedding currently featured in the Southern Bride & Groom 2018 Magazine!

We don't always get to be behind the scenes at our clients bridal shoots, so it was such a treat to see a first look of Lindsay in her gown. We adore these bridal portraits by our friend, Graham Terhune, we had to share! He captured her beauty inside and out!

We cannot believe it has already been a year since April & Costa's beautiful garden wedding in Durham, NC! Wishing this happy couple a very Happy Anniversary and many more to come!

The fall wedding season is in full swing, and this weekend we will be transforming one of our favorite wedding venues, The Pavilion at the Angus Barn.  We are always thrilled to plan events at this classic Raleigh venue, so we decided to share a past wedding at The Pavilion, with a particularly fun and stunning couple! Recently featured on Southern Bride & Groom, Conley & Adam are a classic couple with modern style.

Hearing our clients talk about their wedding day is one of the sweetest rewards of our jobs.  Over the years, these clients have shown us some major love.  Today, we had fun looking back on some kind words from a few of our couples.
